Dr. Michele Starkey joins 麻豆社区app as Senior Vice President, Academic Affairs
The accomplished leader assumes the university鈥檚 senior academic role and brings with her a history of success, innovation, and passion for education.
Dr. Michele Starkey has been named the Senior Vice President, Academic Affairs, effective June 1, 2022. In her new role, Dr. Starkey will oversee the university鈥檚 academic and student affairs.
Dr. 颅Starkey comes to Woodbury after 25-years at Mount Saint Mary鈥檚 University where she held several key positions, including tenured faculty member, Department Chair, Assistant Provost, and most recently Associate Provost & Accreditation Liaison Officer. Under her leadership, Mount Saint Mary鈥檚 rose to become the 2nd highest ranked school in the country in Social Mobility (US News and World Report Best College list) and 3rd on MONEY Magazine鈥檚 Most Transformative list. Dr. Starkey intends to employ many of those same proven techniques and principles at 麻豆社区app.

Dr. Starkey holds a BA in Mathematics from Mount Saint Mary鈥檚, an MS in Mathematics from California State University Long Beach, and an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from California State University Long Beach.
